TRIUMPH BONNEVILLE MOTORBIKE HIRE - TARIFF


Our charges are simple, the first day is £125...

...and each day after that is only £95


For example, a 3 day* weekend hire from Friday afternoon to Monday afternoon will be only £315 (based on £125+£95+95 = £315)


Included in the price of the hire is:


  1. ★ Free bike delivery to your accommodation within 30 miles of Penrith - calculated on a postcode to postcode basis*

  2. ★ A full tank of fuel

  3. ★ Comprehensive Insurance (subject to conditions and over 25’s only)

  4. ★ Breakdown Recovery Service if required

  5. ★ Free helmet loan if required

  6. ★ We can also hire you a leather jacket for £15 per hire period


Note : All of our helmets are Sharp Tested and rated at a minimum of 4 Stars


  1. *‘Days’ are classed as 24 hour periods except guided tours or special events in which the bike hire is for the duration of the tour/event only, e.g. 9am to 5pm. Extra delivery mileage will be charged at £1 per mile


Overseas customers : we don’t charge you a higher insurance premium, the standard price we quote is the price you pay (terms and conditions apply).

 

Deposit Payment Terms



Due to the nature of our business we cannot accept the payment of the Insurance Deposit by Credit Card whilst delivering the bike as it is often impossible to get a mobile connection. There are only 2 options for deposit payments:


  1. 1.    We invoice you a week in advance for the £500 deposit and refund it upon the safe return of the bike. You can pay this invoice using most major credit cards however... there is a bank charge of £17.20 per transaction, a total of £34.40, and this charge will be added to you bill. The refund also takes around 5 or 6 working days - not good value for money.


Or...


  1. 2.    You can leave us a cash deposit. This obviously has no bank charges and it is returned to you immediately upon the safe return of the bike. You can then use the money to pay your accommodation bill, etc.


We think option 2 is the best choice, and we’re sure you will agree.

We also have a fantastic Triumph Thruxton with a single seat side-car available for hire. This is a one-off vehicle, modified in 2009 by Charnwood Classics, and there is no other like it Worldwide.


It is the ideal transport for biking couples taking their Honeymoon in The Lake District!


The sidecar has a small luggage area behind the seat, certainly enough space to pack a picnic and cameras, and with its 900cc engine the bike has more than enough performance to tackle those lakeland passes.


This really does hark back to the glory days of motorcycling in the 50’s and 60’s - but in a modern, powerful and reliable package.


Note : the combination can only by hired by more experienced bikers and it MUST be ridden with a passenger in the sidecar at all times. If you are still relatively inexperienced or you have not ridden for many years - forget it.




For a s
mall extra charge we can also fit Givi luggage to our bikes of you wish to do some serious touring. Hire charges are : Tank bags £10 and Panniers £15 for the duration of the hire.


All of our bikes are covered by the AA offering roadside assistance and recovery.
